Volunteer!
Reesie's "Project Outreach" is currently being grown and operated by a small group of very special volunteers. Volunteers are greatly needed for this "grassroots" program - there is a lot of work to be done!
Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Foster families and/or individuals for pet companions of terminally ill guardians.
- Fosters families and/or individuals for pet companions of victims of domestic violence.
- Volunteers to solicit food donations and/or other animal related items.
- Volunteer coordinators to place animal companions in foster care.
- Volunteers to screen potential adoptive and/or foster families.
- Volunteers to assist in transporting animals to medical facilities in the event the guardian is unable to do so.
- Volunteers to do general office duties, such as making telephone calls to ensure that all is well for our animals who have recently been adopted and/or are currently in foster care.
- As this organization grows additional volunteer positions may be available as new programs are developed. Initially we will focus on creating a well-funded and operable organization in order to fulfill the afore mentioned goals.
